domains.fyi is a subscription research service that publishes a daily curated list of expired, auction, and backorder domain names for professional domain investors. We are a research service only — we do not sell, register, or broker domains, and no transactions take place on this website.

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit domains.fyi or become a member, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions at any time: [email protected].

We deliberately collect as little as possible:

• Email address — when you contact us, apply for membership, or subscribe to alerts.
• Name — if you choose to provide it in your email.
• Billing details — collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
• Google account email — required to share your private Google Sheet with you.
• Telegram handle — only if you opt in to Telegram alerts.
• Basic technical data — our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to serve the site and prevent abuse. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to count page views; it does not track you across other websites.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles of our visitors or members.

• To respond to your inquiries and process your membership application.
• To invoice you and manage billing through Stripe.
• To deliver the service: sharing your private Google Sheet and sending optional email or Telegram alerts.
• To send essential service messages (billing reminders, access changes, policy updates).
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We do not send third-party marketing, and we do not use your data for anything unrelated to providing the service.

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you pay an invoice, your card or bank details go directly to Stripe — they never touch our servers and we cannot access them. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We retain invoice records (name, email, amount, date) as required for accounting and tax purposes.

This site does not set marketing or tracking cookies of its own. We use cookieless, aggregate analytics to understand traffic — no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no personal profiles.

We may advertise domains.fyi on platforms such as Google Ads. If you arrive via one of our ads, Google may set cookies on its own domains to measure ad performance (for example, recording that a click led to a visit). This measurement is controlled by Google, not us; you can manage it via Google Ads Settings and read more in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not run third-party ads on this website and never share member lists or emails with advertisers.

We rely on a small number of providers to operate, each receiving only what's necessary:

• Stripe — payment processing and invoicing.
• Google Workspace — email and private Google Sheets used to deliver your daily list.
• Cloudflare — hosting, HTTPS, security, and aggregate analytics.
• Telegram — optional alerts, only if you opt in.
• Google Fonts — typefaces served by Google; your browser requests them directly from Google's servers.

These providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States, under their own privacy safeguards. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

We keep your email and membership records while you're a member and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle billing questions. Invoice records are retained as long as accounting and tax rules require. Everything else is deleted on request.

To request a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days, usually much faster.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have legal rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. We honor these requests for all users regardless of location — just email us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

The site is served over HTTPS, access to member data is limited to the operators of the service, and member lists are shared via individual private Google Sheets. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep the surface area small by collecting almost nothing.

Member sheets contain proprietary research. Do not redistribute list contents — this protects every member's edge, including yours.

domains.fyi is a business-to-business service intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For material changes affecting members, we'll notify you by email before they take effect.
